About The Race

Each year, St. Luke’s FitOne draws thousands of people of all ages to downtown Boise for its 5K, 10K and half marathon races. But it’s more than a great way to spend a September morning—it’s a platform to promote healthy living and make memories that racers can cherish for years to come.

5K RACE DETAILS

Whether you're feeling competitive or just in it for fun, the FitOne 5K is a great way to move your body and recharge your spirit!

Our 5K course includes two waves:

A competitive wave.
A family wave, during which strollers are allowed (and encouraged!). No scooters or bikes are allowed during the race for safety reasons.

Plus, we offer a “shortcut” course for those who need it! Racers who wish to utilize the shorter FitOne.2 route should sign up for the 5K. Golf carts will be available at the shortcut point for racers who need extra assistance.

Gear check is not available for the 5K races, so please plan accordingly! Please note, this course is not certified by USATF. Only service animals are allowed. Race day is Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Registration Fees

Kids age 12 and under are free with a paid adult registration! But please note: each child must be registered and wearing a race bib on race day.

June 5: $20 (ages 13 and older)
June 6 - August 31: $30 (ages 13 and older)
September 1 - 15: $35 (ages 13 and older)
September 16 - 20: $45 (ages 13 and older)

Awards Structure

5K Competitive Run

All finishers receive a medal.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall female, male and nonbinary runners will each receive an award.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place female and male winners in each age group will receive an award.
