Half Marathon

FitOne is designed as a fun, family-friendly event for the community, and none of the three courses are certified by USATF.

***IMPORTANT!! When registering, please be sure that you are entering the CORRECT NAME and BIRTH DATE for ALL registrants (adults, free/paid children, teens). This information is critical for the packet pick-up process and for age group awards pertaining the 5K Red Competitive Wave, 5K Green Competitive Stroller Wave, 10K and Half Marathon ***  

* If you are a female, when choosing your participant t-shirt size, we recommend choosing one size larger than your normal workout apparel size. The Female t-shirts tend to run a little small.

The FitOne Half Marathon welcomes walkers, but all courses will open to traffic at 11:00 a.m. After 11:00 a.m. participants still on the course will be asked to move to the sidewalks and if proceeding shall do so without the support of volunteers/staff and at their own risk.

Half Start
Downtown Boise, intersection of Capitol Blvd & Bannock Street The FitOne Half Marathon is a corralled start based on your estimated pace. BE AT YOUR ASSIGNED CORRAL BY 7:00 a.m. The half marathon start signal is at 7:15 a.m.


FREE Race Day Shuttles
Shuttles will be offered from the Dillards parking lot at the Boise Towne Square and will begin running at 5:30 a.m. on race day.  Please be mindful to park your vehicles near the outer perimeter of the parking lot to not disrupt business for all mall retailers.  Friends and family members joining to cheer you on are welcome to ride the shuttles. ALL shuttle buses are able to accomodate strollers.

FitOne will not be offering a Nampa/Canyon County shuttle this year.

Gear Check
FitOne will provide a gear check truck located at back of the start corral.  It will be available starting at 6:15 a.m.  Please see your race bib for full instructions and a tag for your bag.  The tag will correspond with your assigned bib and bags will be available for pick-up near the information tent in Ann Morrison Park post race.

Half Marathon Medical Locations
Medical canopies are located at the start line, The Cabin: A Literary Center before you cross the Boise River, and inside Ann Morrison Park. St. Luke’s Sports Medicine is located at the finish line. Ada County Paramedics are located at the Boise Depot. Medical volunteers provided by Emergency Medicine of Idaho are located along the course and on ATVs for assistance.

Aid/Water Stations
The main water station is located at the Boise Train Depot. Bottled water is also available at the Finish Festival. The 10K and half marathon participants will pass through 3-4 aid stations where water, an electrolyte drink and energy gels will be available.  If you require additional water, we encourage you to carry it with you.

Finish Line - Keep Moving
As you cross the finish line, please keep moving until you are clear of the finish area and inside the park. Those who have crossed the finish line WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BACK ONTO THE RACE COURSE. This is for yours and the safety of others, please proceed to the footbridge in Ann Morrison Park to access Shoreline Drive.

Finish Festival
Breakfast is available for registered participants. Breakfast is generously provided for your enjoyment by our sponsors.

Reunion Area
Reunite with your friends and family at the reunion area located just inside Ann Morrison Park and to your left. Look for flags with the first letter of your last name and prearrange with your family and friends to meet you there.

All half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal. The top overall female and male runners will each win an award and the first, second and third male and female runners in each age group will also be given an award.

Age Group Awards – Results Tent
All participants in the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon will be timed at no extra cost to the participant. Your finishing time serves as an important benchmark as you seek to improve your fitness levels from year to year. All results and awards will be located at the results tent near the breakfast area in Ann Morrison Park.
