Reasons to Run!

I decided to join the Dairy Dashers running club because I have never been a runner, run a race before, and I wanted to find a new activity to participate in! Seems pretty simple, but it’s been more challenging than expected! I want to prove to myself that I can complete this race. I might not be a ‘runner’ or try for bigger races later, but this is a great starting point. I am excited to be running my first race at the FitOne race in September! It is nice to be a part of a running group that is so supportive and full of friendly, encouraging people. Every training session is so positive and fun! What is even better is that we end each training day with chocolate milk! Chocolate milk provides protein, electrolytes, and all the essential nutrients your body needs to refuel, recover, and repeat! See you all out there on race day!
