Children like Savannah get better care every year at St. Luke’s MSTI, thanks in large part to the generosity of individual donors and corporations, such as the Hyundai “Hope on Wheels” program and Boise-area Hyundai dealers. Since 2010, they’ve given $270,000 to St. Luke’s to support programs and services for kids and teens.
Savannah is ten years-old, and is being treated for lymphoma. She takes part in physical therapy through the St. Luke’s MSTI Pediatric Neuro-Oncology program. The most recent Hyundai grant went to this program, helping to fund physical therapy equipment for kids dealing with cancer and its physical effects. It also helped cover the salary of Savannah’s pediatric physical therapist and good friend, Jill, who provides physical therapy not just for kids who have cancer but for a variety of conditions throughout St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.
Hyundai also helped fund equipment and staff to enhance the “Cogmed” working memory training program, which helps improve attention, concentration, problem-solving, and impulse control. This five days a week/five-week program is free to families, thanks to the Hope on Wheels.
Every day, generous, caring people and organizations give to change the lives of kids like Savannah. And that includes you—all proceeds from FitOne benefit the kids and teens at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.
